Welcome To Aisling

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kasey Barbour and I am not a health expert or gym rat or some muscled up body builder. I am a devoted husband and father of 4 beautiful kids. I currently have a dad-bod, or what my wife likes to call a “father-figure”, lol. My purpose in creating this website is to help as many people as I can during my own health journey. I started a couple years ago in 2019. I weighed 260 lbs and couldn’t crawl into bed without running out of breath. My shoulders were so jacked up I couldn’t hardly let my arms swing when I walked. I finally had had enough and told myself I have to do something. I started reading up on a lot of things on why I was in so much pain all the time, and reading lead me into listening to podcast and personal development. In the initial first year, I managed to create some good habits and quit some bad ones. In the course of about 3 months I went from 255 lbs to 185 lbs and was feeling amazing. Then of course fall came with the holidays, and one cheat day became two, and two cheat days became two weeks. Before you know it I had slipped back into old habits. Of course once the pain started coming back I had to catch myself and since then I have been right here balancing between 205 lbs and 225 lbs. I still have some pain going on and am not in very good shape at all currently, but not quite as bad as I was in 2019. My goal is to become very fit and have a sculpted body, and I’d like to take you all on this journey with me, so that you can see it IS possible, and this website can act as proof that anybody can do it, and also provide as many resources to you as I can that could benefit you in your health journey.
